Offered here for the first time ever! A beautiful reproduction of the WWII German field stove/heater. Manufactured and offered by Tom Comer, a skilled fabricator and long time reenactor. This newly manufactured (made in the USA) stove is an exact copy of Tom's original field stove weighing in at 25 lbs.

The Germans used these field stoves for cooking and also as a source of heat. These were intended for vehicle crews or use at infantry squad level and are perfect for overnight tacticles or static camp displays. Cook soup, make stew and heat coffee. The original mess-tins fit into a mess-tin shaped hole in the cast iron top. The hole has a hinged cast Iron lid that covers it when not in use. Tom thinks that it may get so hot, it could melt a mess tin. The other option is that you can hang mess tins around the sides and heat or keep food warm that way.

We had two new ones of these at Rockford that sold out! Keep checking back for updates, but we expect Tom to have more soon. The casting molds are now finished.

• As with the original, the the lid and base are cast iron
• The top has the same hinged, cast iron door as the original
• The opening on top is the correct size for a single mess tin to fit down inside for faster cooking
• The outer hooks hold up to five mess tins (in a circle) for cooking or heating
• Inside is a steel grate to set your wood or coal
• The thick steel sleeve is the correct diameter
• The chimney is a standard 3 " vent pipe, available at hardware stores
• The whole stove comes apart for easy cleaning and transport
• Includes original war-time manufacturer's marks

As an indication of it's quality, we sold two stoves the first day of its first showing, and we weren't even advertising it, just using it in our camp (Thunder Over Michigan). We sold out of the 2nd batch at Rockford.
Don't miss out if you really want one. Because of casting run requirements, quantities will be limited.

Sorry - Out-of Stock at the Moment!
